- Parent/guardian name and email address
- Student name, grade, and progress data
- Usage data for improving the learning experience
2. How We Use Information
Information is used to provide educational services, track student progress, manage subscriptions, and communicate important updates.
3. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Payment information is handled securely via trusted payment providers.
4. Children’s Privacy
Student accounts are created and managed by parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent.
5. Leaderboards
BrainBox ED leaderboards celebrate learning activity. To protect learner privacy, parents or guardians choose whether a student's username, school, grade and EduCoins can appear on the public leaderboard. Full names are never displayed. A learner's private ranking and reward eligibility are calculated regardless of this public-display choice. Parents or guardians can change this setting or ask for a learner's information to be corrected or removed.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
7. Optional marketing measurement
If you explicitly allow marketing tracking, BrainBox ED may use Meta Pixel on public pages to measure page visits and new parent account registrations. It is off until you opt in. Public page URLs may include allowed advertising campaign tags and a Meta click ID, which Meta may receive after you opt in. We do not send events from learner, account, payment or sign-in pages, or parent or child details as event parameters. You can decline or withdraw your choice using “Marketing preferences” on a public page; this does not affect your access to BrainBox ED.
